Sonic Producer, a very complete musical sequencer, has been receiving a lot of attention lately. A few of the guys at work bought it and they’ve gone kinda crazy about it for some reason. So I figured I should give it a try to see what’s so incredible about it. I Sonic Producer a scam? Is it Good ? Is it worth buying? Let’s find out.
When you think of a digital musical tool, some people usually associate that to a “digital DJ console”. The problem we had for a long time is that most similar tools were not giving the expected results. But what about Sonic Producer? In which aspect is Sonic Producer any different than the other similar tools on the market ?
First off, I know everyone claims that their product is the most “user-friendly” but from my Sonic Producer review or perspective, I have to admit that I am shockingly surprised by how stupid and straightforward this software is. By a simple click, you get to the sounds library inside the Sonic Producer software, and you can choose whatever beat you need for that specific track. Set your tunes, copy and paste a certain “string” if necessary, then rinse and repeat. Okay, reading this sounded like a lot of work to you ?
And this soundtrack took him less than 5 minutes to produce! Now, don’t you worry about the learning curve for Sonic Producer. There are tutorials included, explaining every aspect of the software. You also get to have video tutorials, which are always easier to understand.
You will also learn how to produce music using the software, a keyboard, ProTools, Logic and more.
After making a beat, a simple click and your file gets converted to a MP3 file.

When you log into the “Sonic Producer Members Only Area”, you have access to many special features and bonuses that the non-members are missing onto. The most important one probably being all the extra beats and intrumentals that you can download and import into your Sonic Producer software. They even put up contests quite frequently to see which of the users can produce the best beat! Just in case you are wondering: Yes! There are money prizes.

As I’ve mentioned earlier, the interface of this software is really simple to use. Your virtual keyboard, combined with the 16 track sequencer and equalizer settings are all so intuitive that this software could be used by anyone from 7 to 77. I still suggest that you take a few minutes to go through the video tutorials of Sonic Producer, but even if you just want to learn from scratch, I can guarantee that you won’t have any problem adapting to Sonic Producer!
Let’s just say that your first beat, which might also be the longest to produce, should take you anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes depending on your computer skills. That is the 1st beat. You can almost cut your time in half after 4 or 5 done.
The sound library alone makes this software worth the price, in my opinion. And I insist on this point, but the simplicity of the software really is astonishing! It’s easy enough for amateurs like myself who want to create cool stuff, but also versatile and efficient enough to please the more experienced musicians and producers. So no matter which style of music you are into, this software will easily adapts to your needs.
Sonic Producer Review of Computer Requirements
This software will work on both PC and Mac computers. Internet access is required for all the updates and download materials, but that shouldn’t be an issue for you. Believe it or not, there is even a 24/7 customer service agent available for you if you end up having any questions or need assistance with your software.
I also really liked the fact that you will download Sonic Producer only seconds after the purchase is made, which is far more accommodating than waiting the usual 1 to 2 weeks of shipping delays.

If you don’t relate to any of those words, please, don’t waste your money. For that specific situation, I’d simply say: “Don’t Buy Sonic Producer!”
But if you do relate to these words, well, you will definitely enjoy it!
If you are unexperienced, like I am, it is very “cool” to see how easy it is even for us “newbies” to create pretty decent tracks and compose our own beats!
And if you are more of an experienced person for musical sequencer and softwares, I can certainly guarantee that you will feel that little “sparkle-of-I-feel-good” when you give this a try ! hehe
