I have been trying many article rewriters over the last few months.
Unfortunately, I have to admit that most of them are the same kind of “article spinner”, similar to what JetSpinner is offering.

If you are not familiar with what is an article rewriter :

Article rewriter softwares are usually quite easy to use.
What you need to do is write an article and add a few variables to it.
The system works somewhat like this :

{Here is how/Let me show you how/Here are methods on how}
This will create 3 different sentences with 3 different “first part of sentence”.

But I personally find it very long to actually insert all those brackets, so I’m not such a big fan of this type or article rewriter.

BUT

I kept searching the Internet for various software with similar properties.. and I ended up finding something very interesting

It is called “Content Boss“.

Content boss is a server hosted article spinner script.

I had been waiting a long time to see this coming, and honestly, I won’t ever switch to another article rewriter.. Ever !

Content boss has a “smart” database if I can say..
Since it has such a big database of keywords, it can easily transform a sentence into another within only a few seconds.
But the great thing with the “smart database” is that the more people using it, the better the sentences will look like and the bigger the database will become.

Many tools can do that; rewrite an article.
The difference with Content Boss is the fact that the rewritten articles are EASILY readable. They don’t look like automated/sketchy texts.

The way I do this is I take one of my own articles, copy it into content boss, click ONE button, and it gives me the new version.

All I have to do is re-read it, make sure there are no grammar mistakes, and it’s good to go.

Doing this usually takes between 2 and 5 minutes, and you’ve got yourself a new article.

Now, of course, if you feel like gambling a little, you can try and take articles directly from EzineArticles.

Since you don’t want to be accused of copyright infringement, you will have to make sure the new version of the article is 100% copyscape passed.

I use http://www.duplichecker.com to check and make sure my articles are unique.

But honestly, I don’t think there are any other article rewriter that are HALF as good as Content Boss.

Usually the admission price for Content Boss members is $67/month.

But since I know the creator from a few online forums, I did get a HUGE discount for my visitors…

..OVER $40 of discount.. EVERY month !

Well, this is what we’ll be doing today.
I’ll cover a few points about Google Insight, and show you how you can find profitable PPC campaigns AND low competition niches !

Now, I know the page seems a bit overloaded because of the picture, but I really wanted to show you a real image of what Insights can do.

1: Search Terms
Insert your keyword here

2: Last 90 Days
Okay, here you can choose from a year ago, 90 days ago, 1 month ago, 1 week ago, and specific years too.
Most of the time, I recommend using the 90 days ago. You want the ACTUAL tendency for your specific keyword. But it can also be used to see seasonal patterns, depending on your product.

3: Worldwide
I chose worldwide to show you how you can find good PPC keywords into a country you first would have not have thought about.
But you can switch this to any country you like if it can help you be more targeted.

4: Time line
Since I chose to see the tendency for the last 90 days, this is what is shows into this graph.
But as I mentionned before, if you want to see a seasonal tendency for your keyword, which is very important in many niches, you could see visually see what are the proper timings of the year to highly promote your product.

5: Regional Interest
Now here is where it gets a little bit more interesting.
This shows you where the specific keywords has been used the most.
Since I chose “Worldwide”, they give me a list of different countries where this keyword has been popular over the last 3 months.
If you would have chosen a country like the United States for example, the regional interests would have been divided into states.
Once again, big opportunity there.
You can target your clicks to only a few states, resulting into a better ROI. (return on investment)

What I like here though is that Google told us that there countries were typing this keyword a lot.

We already know what are the countries were advertisers spend the most money on :
- USA
- Canada
- Australia
- United Kingdom
- Ireland
- New Zeland

Why these countries ? .. the ones with the highest % of english speaking population.

But if you take a look at the image above, you can see that for the term “Guitar Lessons”, the top spot is from “South Africa” and the 3rd one is from the “Phillipines”.

Chances are that those two countries are not going to have that much competition on adwords.

Let’s take a look :

Meaning that you could appear on the first page for 10 to 15 cents per click. Not bad eh ?

And believe me; it took me about 15 seconds to find this.
You can dig deeper and easily find tons of highly searched keywords with next to no competition !

Top Searches :
You can use this to either dig deeper and find keywords that could have a low CPC on adwords..
OR
You can search on google to see how much competition you’ve got for these.
To do so, all you have to do is add QUOTES (”") before and after your keyword on google.. like this “Online Guitar Course”
hmm.. only 15,000 pages competing with this specific keyword in it.

You could easily rank on first page with a blog, a squidoo lens or a hub page too !

7: Rising Searches
Now everything I’ve said before can be applied to these few keywords listed there.
You can go and try to find HOT keywords that have no competition on Google.
You can go and build sites to get SEO juice for your targeted keywords.
You could even buy a domain name related to a rising search, build a small site about it and flip it for profit ! (I’ve done that)

If it’s HOT, you’ll have no problem selling it.

So yeah.. I know this was a long post, but I sincerely think that if you’re not already using this as a MAIN tool, you should get started.

Google Insights is a very underestimated tool for your Online business!

First, what does “cloaking” mean ?
Cloaking an affiliate link means changing the “look” of a link so the visitor CANNOT have any clue if it belongs to an affiliate or not.

If you promote Clickbank products, their affiliate links have been looking like this for a long time :

http://xxxxxx.yyyyyy.hop.clickbank.net

I.e. : http://AFFILIATE.kickbutt.hop.clickbank.net

But these links can easily be noticed into the status bar.. and it can result into loss in sales.

There are two main reasons why you should cloak your affiliate links.

Reason #1 :
..is because people don’t like to know they are being sold to.
When someone smells a salesman coming around, we are all taking a step back.. right ?

Because we know that the main purpose of this all.. if for them to make money !

now if I do have a domain named
www.ThisIsMyWebsite.com

I could easily cloak this link :
http://AFFILIATE.kickbutt.hop.clickbank.net
so it looks like this :
www.ThisIsMyWebsite.com/WHATeverIwant

It looks way less like someone selling something.. isn’t ?

(I’ll show you how to cloak your links at the end of this page)

Reason #2 :
..is because of the other affiliates who wants to buy your product.
Let’s pretend I am an affiliate on Clickbank, and I find a website talking about this great product. If I see a link, I click on it, and it looks just normal:
..chances are that I might purchase that product right away.

If I like this same product, and when I click on a link, I see that it’s actually a product from clickbank.. I could change YOUR link for MINE.. Copy this link in my address bar, and go back on the sales page.

What does this do ?
Instead of you making $50 when I buy the 97$ product, I get $50 in my affiliate account when I purchase it.
This means I got a HUGE discount, and you lost one nice sale.
Just because I am an affiliate who noticed a link that had not been cloaked.

So in other words, you can only benefit from cloaking your links.

Now, how to actually cloak those links ?
For the method I am about to show you, you will need your own domain name and hosting account.

(if you don’t have a domain/hosting, I suggest you use something like tinyurl.com)

Let’s use my website for this example.. And I will use the Micro Niche Finder keyword tool as my product. (by the way; nothing compares to this tool!)

My affiliate link, which is this :
http://loginfo.kickbutt.hop.clickbank.net
has been transformed into this :
http://JeffreyMireault.com/keyword-tool/

but they are both sending my visitors to the same page.

How did I do that ?

1. Create a new folder in your domain. Mine was “keyword-tool”. (I suggest you name your folder according to a keyword you want to rank for)
2. Create a file into that folder : index.php
3. Add this text into the php file :

<#?php
header( 'Location: http://loginfo.kickbutt.hop.clickbank.net' ) ;
?>

4. Save your file.
5. Enjoy !

(IMPORTANT : in the coding I have given you, you can see a # at the beginning. For the code to work, you want to DELETE this #, and replace the address with your affiliate link.)

and that’s it ! Since the file is named index.php you can use

instead of

It depends..
(what a great answer)

First, what is a successful niche to you ?
Maybe making 5-6 sales a week is success to you ?
Maybe making $100 per day is success to you ?
I’ve known people making over $400 per day, only with articles.. and that was just not enough !

But hey! Let’s be realistic here, and pretend that our goal is to achieve a good $100 per day.

Many people would be more than happy to make this much money, and this is a very reachable goal.

But before taking any conclusion regarding how many articles are needed, you will have to test your landing page.

No matter what you are selling, and no matter if you are advertising with PPC or not, you want to find the “conversion rate” of your landing page.

Basically, you want to know how many people out of 100 are likely to purchase your product.

Of course, to get significant numbers, you have to do testing for a little time.
And I know, conversion rate can be modified/improved in order to get more from our visitors, but that’s another story.

But to achieve your goal, I suggest you start testing a site by using Adwords PPC for a few days, and please, make sure you TRACK your clicks. (use Google Analytics)

Now.. if you have 2% conversion.. or no!
Let’s pretend you are just starting out, and worst case scenario;

You have a 1% conversion rate.
For every 100 people to your site, you make one sale.

Let’s say you make $40.

To make $100, you would need 250 visitors.

Since you are starting from scratch, we will pretend that there are no daily visitors to your site; No traffic from the search engines; And no other links than those articles.

In average, an ordinary article on ezinearticles can be seen between 30 & 100 times in it’s first day.. (sometimes it can be over xxxx’s views tho)

Let’s say 50 visitors per approved articles..

1: Start with EzineArticles.com
To get 250 visitors, you need to get 5 articles approved.
It is a bit of work to do, but what would you do for $100 per DAY ?

And even though it is boring, to get started, you need to do this steadily for.. I’d say a month.

Here is why :
By doing so, for 30 days, you should generate around 250 visitors daily, and about $100 in sales.
But while these articles are giving you direct traffic, they will also end up being ranked on Google too.. Because you are a smart marketer, and you’ve made your articles keyword relevant.

One last supposition : Let’s say that every new articles you write ENDS UP giving you ONE daily visitors. It will probably be more than that.. but let’s say that after the first “release-rush” you get 1 daily per article (it is more than that).

After a month, not only have you made your $100 daily, but you now have a minimum of 150 daily visitors, resulting in 1 to 2 sales on automation ! Keep going + create more backlinks and you are good to go.

Once there, sky is the limit.

What you just read above is one of the many possible action plans to get your $100 per day !

Here’s a question I found on Yahoo Answers and I wanted to share it with you.

I know the title’s long, but I wanted to keep it intact. This is the way that this person formulated his question.. and I am glad you can see it.

We can learn a lot from this; especially about the state of mind that this person was in at that moment.

“Is affiliate marketing another smoke screen..”
Maybe this person got caught into some other hypey product promising a wealthy future full of benefits.. ? But what we know is that this person has already been “played” and they’re on their toes..

“..to sell useless guides to desperate people ?”
Do I have to say more.. ?

This man wanted an honest opinion regarding affiliate marketing, because he could see the opportunity, but was afraid he would get caught into another scam.

But the most “powerful” word he used was : Desperate !

..and we can, for our business, use the fact that this person is desperate..

BUT Hold On a Second !

We are going to make one thing clear: no matter what the situation is, if you want to jump into an opportunity like this one, you have THE OBLIGATION to actually help that “desperate” person.

You cannot just take advantage of him/her.

How are you going to help him while taking the benefits ?
- What about sending him an invitation to join your list, cause you teach this for free ?
- Why not sending him to a trusted place where he can really have something for his money and learn from successful people too; What about Wealthy Affiliate ?
- Why not simply send him to a free forum like Digital Points or WarriorForum for example ? He will thank you many times and surely follow you afterwards.
- Or even sending him to the Bum Marketing course; that’s a good way to get started !

Those are all ways you could HELP this person ! And not only would you give a hand to someone in need, but you would also grow your business by doing so !

Now you know what the nice part is…

There are THOUSANDS of people who are looking for help from honest and trustworthy people !

Simply make sure that you don’t just make money off their back; The impact that such moves have on people is much more than losing $50..
It’s more like if you were taking away an opportunity/dream/HOPE from them, and believe me, nobody deserves this.. (plus, Karma goes a long way!!) hehe

And I am sure that most of you can relate to someone in particular, who has helped/motivated you in some way.. And I bet you are still watching what this person does every once in a while right ?

How to get tons of backlinks…

Isn’t this the most challenging part ? Getting the backlinks done to start seeing traffic appear on your site ?

But how can you generate backlinks; Where to get started ?

I am probably going to forget many ways, but here it goes :

#1 – Social Bookmarking/Networks

You have heard about StumbleUpon, Technorati, Digg, Simpy, Slashdot, Propeller, Reddit, Delicious, etc.. Did you ?
There are literally hundreds of different social bookmarking sites you can use to generate backlinks to your site. And the good thing about those links is that they usually come from websites with a PageRank (PR) of 3 or higher !

But the only challenge with using social bookmarking is that they are time consuming. To fix this problem, you can either outsource the work by asking on DigitalPoint or go to Elance.com for example
OR
You can use OnlyWire.com.

The boring part with OnlyWire is to actually subscribe to all the sites they suggest, but once you are done, you will be able to add your site to over 20 bookmarking sites in less than 2 minutes !

Oh! And don’t forget the social networks as MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, etc..

#2 – Article Writing :

Another good way to generate high PR links..
But the difference with the articles is that you get a chance to actually interact with your visitors before sending them to the specifies link..

.. and this is critical.

Write an article that sounds like a sales page; The visitor probably won’t ever click that link. You only get that backlink for SEO pupose.

Try to help and give valuable information to the people reading your articles, and not only will you have “SEO juice” from that link, but an article can do a better job than a sales page.

After reading articles, sometimes people are ready to purchase a product before having seen the actual official website !

The best place for articles is without a doubt EzineArticles.com, but they are picky; what I mean is that your articles will need to be perfect before being approved, and it takes a few days.

But it’s totally worth it.

They are listed with their Alexa rankings, and it shows their PR too.

#3 – Forums :

Forums are a very rapid way to generate backlinks to your site from a relavant high PR website.

You can almost always add a signature link on a forum, and even if it’s a no follow link, you can still get some juice from it. (see SEO Lies, from Justin Brooke)

And by doing so, you will also get valuable information regarding your niche..
Why is that ?
Because the first place to go to get an honest opinion on something is on a forum.

That’s where the real deal is. No BS; No lies; Just ordinary people sharing information.

4# – Blog Posts

There are millions of blogs online where you can post comments to.
All you have to do is to look for blogs that are relevant to your website. Once you found a few, enter in there, say something smart, and leave a link to your site there.

If you say stupid things or just a copy/paste/automated message, chances are that the owner is going to remove your post !

You can use softwares like Comment Kahuna for this.

#5 – 30 Minute Backlinks method

This is a method I’ve learned from Michelle MacPhearson, an established Internet Marketer.

I am not going to tell you exactly how it works;
Michelle worked hard on creating her product, and since I bought it, I know it is WELL WORTH it’s $97.

I know, it is a big investment! But what I learned with her guide is a way to generate hundreds of backlinks within only a few minutes.. And the process can be repeated over and over again.

And this is not about spamming blogs with useless posts of stuff like that! The 30 minutes backlink course is teaching a unique method to get links from website you would not usually think of !
